Yesterday, American Airlines’ parent, AMR, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Unfortunately, this sad day has long been inevitable. Saudi Cargo adds Amsterdam and Nairobi

Saudi Airlines Cargo adds Amsterdam (AMS) and Nairobi (NBO) to its to freighter network from December 2010. Three weekly MD-11F flights will operate from Riyadh (RUH) and Jeddah (JED) on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday via Nairobi. The main, Africa-Europe leg is targeted at the fresh flower market.
