I think the long fuselage will never fly as F. We are almost never volume-limited on the short airframe. But the pic is a nice idea anyways ;-)

It does look long enough to be a 300 but I thought the 777F was based on the 200 frame.  Is there a 300F variant on the way? My guess:  777F.

US DOD set its budget topline request at $525b for FY13 (vs $531b in this fiscal year), which it says puts it on path to save $259b over the next five years and $487b over the next 10. It is cutting planned F-35 procurement to 179 aircraft over the next five years, and cancelling the Global Hawk Block 30 program.

EADS designated Tom Enders to take over from Louis Gallois as CEO at the end of his term in June 2012; Fabrice Bregier will succeed Enders as CEO of AIRBUS.

BOEING reported $4.02b net income on $68.7b revenues in 2011 vs $3.31b on $64.3b in 2010; Commercial Airplanes earned $3.5b on $36.2b vs $3.01b on $31.8b, and plans to deliver 585-600 aircraft in 2012 (vs 477 in 2011), including 70-85 787s/747-8s, to be split evenly.
